Share Your Innovations, Research, and Best Practices at KEPHIC 2026

The Kenya Public Health International Conference (KEPHIC) 2026 invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to submit abstracts that contribute to advancing resilient, equitable, and quality health systems in Kenya and the region.

Submission Guidelines

  • Format - Structured abstract (max. 300 words) with headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • Language - English (translation support available on request).
  • File type - Word document only (no PDFs).
  • Eligibility - Original research, case studies, policy analyses, or innovative programs. Work must be previously unpublished.

Thematic Areas

Submissions should align with one of the six conference themes:

  1. Strengthening resilient health systems at community and Primary Health Care for Universal Health Coverage.
  2. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), climate change and environmental determinants of health.
  3. Strengthening infectious disease prevention, surveillance and pandemic preparedness.
  4. Governance, regulation and financing for quality, resilient and equitable health systems.
  5. Innovations, digital transformation and cross-cutting issues in health systems.
  6. Addressing drug and substance abuse as a driver of non-communicable diseases with integrated prevention, treatment and policy responses.

Presentation Formats

  • Oral Presentation – 10-minute talk + Q&A.
  • Poster Display – Printed poster in Innovation Hall.
  • Workshop – Lead a 45-minute interactive session (submit a proposal).
