STATE DEPARTMENT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Nairobi, Kenya - October 2026
The Ministry of Health, State Department for Public Health & Professional Standards, wishes to inform all registered delegates, distinguished speakers, abstract presenters, exhibitors, partners, and stakeholders that the Kenya Public Health International Conference (KEPHIC 2026), originally scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th October 2026, has been rescheduled to February 2027.
As the primary custodian of national public health safety, the Ministry of Health has prioritized the mobilization of public health technical expertise, laboratory infrastructure, and field personnel toward critical, real-time national health responses. Specifically, senior experts and operational teams are currently deployed to lead Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) surveillance and response protocols, alongside proactive El Niño health preparedness and emergency response measures across the country.
To maintain our unwavering commitment to safeguarding public health and ensuring that national emergency management structures operate at peak capacity, the Ministry has taken the strategic decision to adjust the conference timeline.
We deeply appreciate the commitment, research, and support invested by all local and international stakeholders toward KEPHIC 2026. Please take note of the following safeguards:

All confirmed delegate registrations and processed payments remain fully valid and secured for the rescheduled conference in February 2027.
